This was my entry for this contest (I won the second place ): I had to draw Hajime, a Naruto fan-character created by dollbutt. She is around 16-18 years old, and I had fun drawing such a cute yet elegant kunoichi. Unfortunately, the deviantArt user deactivated her account without giving out the prizes she promised to any of the winners, so I'm now selling this character as an adoptable: I may add a download link in exchange of points later, but I'm open for offers in the meanwhile. Can the DA staff ban someone for this kind of behaviour though, if they weren't banned to begin with but deactivated their account voluntarily?
Some people are using the drawings they did for her, changing some details here and there, as their own characters; I guess that is a good idea, at least.Β

I run into some good staff too, not everybody is like that luckily.
What I wonder if someone can be banned to begin with for dishonest behaviour, or if we members just have to deal about such things privately.

I think the DA staff can only take actions if she make multiple accounts, but I think she must have been banned first for them to do that. If she deactivated her account voluntarily, I don't know if the DA staff has the right to ban her.
Anyway, adding her on that livejournal list is a good idea (with her alternate nicks and names, maybe, and a link to the cache copy of her profile here on DA).Β Β
In the end, she basically get free drawings of her characters by scamming methods, so it's a similar issue.

What I like about this piece, is it didn't imitate the anime/manga's graphic style like most anime OC's I've seen here. Which is kind of a let-down.Β
But instead you used a different stroke of style. And it turned out amazing.
