Btw, my recommended reading order for you for the rest of my stories is thusly.
A Girl Sort of Day - [link] You talked about a world where gender is a regular choice ^^. This is a story which brings out this idea in a cute way ^^.
Complaints - [link] (sketches are spoilery so...beware!)
Dinner with Ann and David - [link] (an old one but a lot of Anna inspiration in it)
The Only Letter Home - [link] (I used to do a lot of works like this)
My Captions Archive - [link] It has the last image to The Only Letter Home and some fun shorts which never really made it into other ideas. This covers you for the caption shorts and other works. I did revise some of them but I don't mind you seeing them in their rougher form ^^.
The Snake's Embrace - [link] - Despite the fact it ends at a cliffhanger (sort of), it's worth checking out this story because the Aiborae are crucial to the ideas in a lot of other stories.
Also, there are stories like the Cleaning Lady ( [link] ) and the Poster ( [link] ) which are more traditional TG stories. You might enjoy them to varying degrees. I mention them because that way you can see I'm not perfect all the time 
Now if you want to see me at my most bewildering then check out A Touch Too Close - [link] - A seemingly normal story which turns really odd due to unconventional narrative ideas. It's a failed experiment but I'm glad I tried it.
And of course, the fan-favorite incomplete Paranosis.
This one is fun, an advice column in a world where gender changes are common - Quarter Turn: Dear Annie - [link]
Then Zappy Girl, which means a lot to me personally ^^ - [link]
And a sweeter version of a kid who can change all of reality with a thought ^^ - Little Miss Conceptions - [link]
Then you might want to try Lanuleta University because it's trippy and relationship based like Anime of You, those sorts need space between them ^^.
Then you might try You Are Me - [link] A story you want to read after an awareness of the Aiborae from The Snake's Embrace and such.
Then Exploding Breasts (nothing like you'd expect from the title) is a cute story inspired by Anna as well ^^ - [link]
Then, I'm going to reuse a character named Lynx. You can see her introduced in Girls vs. Boys Water Fight - [link] You can read that any time but I kinda like going in order because you see my stories do actually get better hehe ^^.
There are a couple of Halloween stories to read when that holiday gomes. Halloween episode of Complaints and then The Haunted House and Scaredy Cat. All creepy tales to enjoy in that time of the year ^^. Also, the Mecchen House Halloween.
And that's all that occurs to me.
Once you've read Complaints and The Snake's Embrace, you will be able to read the Abby Longbloom stories with full understanding of the cameo characters which occur in those stories ^^.

Good lord, that's one detailed list of recommendations. I think I'm going to bookmark this deviation on this page so I can reference this in the future like that Touhou related post, but different.

^_^ Well, Abby doesn't need to be read last. Just need to know characters from Mecchen House, Anime of You, Complaints, and about Aiborae and Nuhaizi Corp to get some of the little meta references. It's like...imagine if I took a Doctor Who-like approach to my stories as a multiverse. That's all ^^. I think most people still can follow it all without any knowledge and the second and third stories only require minor knowledge of my previous stories due to being rather stand-alone tales. It's a bit like a TV-show presentation (again, thinking of Doctor Who). If that makes sense.
Also, if you're interested, I have some non-zappy stories here and there. A time travel one or two. And Moonset ^^. The very first story I ever wrote (cleaned up a little since) - [link]
