Description

During the first Deep War, god-king Dagon enslaved the Shoggothoi of the deepest seas and used them as weapons. Millions of years older than even the Deep Ones, these alien bio-machines were built for plasticity, durability and strength, enabling them to survive the most extreme conditions and punch through steel plating with ease. Highly effective against even the largest surface vessels, one shoggoth could sink a cargo ship all on its own.

Attempts to use them during the Second Deep War were less successful and sometimes outright disastrous. Freed from Dagon's mental influence, the shoggoths proved dangerously tricky to control, often turning on their would-be masters.
