Description *Updated on April 4, 2019 to have a new drawing I made in Sketchbook that I’m honestly much more proud of.

Alright, I had my fun with my Big Chungus post yesterday, now it’s time for me to go back to deviations I take seriously while making. Just because I’m a day late doesn’t mean I’m too late to celebrate the 20th anniversary of yet another one of my biggest animated influences: Ed, Edd n Eddy! It’s the classic tale of three boys who all have one variation of the named Ed, except one of them (Ed, voiced by Matt Hill [Dragon Booster, Inuyasha, Storm Hawks, SheZow]) is more about the braun than the brain, another (Edd [referred to as Double D], voiced by Samuel Vincent [Sonic Underground, Storm Hawks, SheZow, Dragalia Lost]) is the neat freak inventor with the most intelligence, and the other (Eddy, voiced by Tony Sampson [Mega Man NT Warrior]) is a mischievous con artist. All three do, however, share one common trait, and that is to get quarters from the other kids in their cul-de-sac that they live in to buy jawbreakers. And it all goes exactly as well as one would think it does!

There were a lot of truly amazing shows on Cartoon Network that I got to see in the early to mid 2000s, but this, The Powerpuff Girls, Pokémon, Samurai Jack, and Codename: Kids Next Door (the last two of which I’ve got to talk about later on!) were my top 5! It’s like they took The Three Stooges and reduced their ages, but made the hijinks even crazier! One of the first episodes I saw was One + One = Ed, and the sheer insanity that ensued in that episode busted my gut! It showed me all kinds of mind-boggling stuff that I never knew a show would actually be capable of at the time, and I could never stop laughing even after the episode was over! And my enjoyment only grew from there, from Once Upon an Ed to The Day the Ed Stood Still to Rock-a-Bye Ed, just to name a few! It cemented Cartoon Network’s place among channels I’d always tune in to at the time, and same with millions of others!

And with its 20th anniversary having occurred yesterday, I just had to get this commemorative piece made and posted, as fashionably late as I may be! I highly thank this show for all of the laughs and memories I got to have (especially during the rough time I was going through, as described in Have I Ever Told You? episode 1), thank Danny Antonucci, and thank Cartoon Network!

Ed, Edd n Eddy is owned by Warner Bros., Cartoon Network, and a.k.a. Cartoon.
