This post is sponsored by… Point Commissions! I opened up a journal two weeks ago where I’m now open to drawing for others at point prices to continue my CORE Membership! If you’ve got something you want me to draw for you (like a Sonic/Shadow fight scene or a Gumball/Darwin play scene or any of the Doctors from Doctor Who exiting the TARDIS into The Boiling Isles from The Owl House and meeting Luz Noceda), then all you have to do is click this underlined text right here (where you’ll also get 50% off at this current time) to go to that journal and look at my prices and how those come together and what my ground rules are. Thank you for reading, and I hope I get to bring your fun little visions to life.
It’s been a long, LONG time since I showed off my progress for OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes X Sonic the Hedgehog: Multiversal Collide, hasn’t it? I was originally gonna do a Premium Gallery where all of the characters drawn so far would be seen, but after I learned that people can fave a submission in a gallery without paying for it, I cancelled the folder in favor of doing commissions (which has turned out to be its own struggle as I still haven’t gotten any customers for it even two weeks after its debut, much to my big disappointment and dismay; seriously, please click that link above and place an order for me!). So now I’m going back to showing these characters in this fashion where I take the drawing out of those character cards and place them on a single-colored background.
And brining us back to this release format is the early Cartoon Network icon Johnny Bravo, whose show turns 25 today. This was another show that I watched all the time growing up. Watching this narcissistic self-proclaimed womanizer get what he deserves always cracked me up just like watching the schemer Eddy get what he deserves in Ed, Edd n Eddy (whose main trio I also drew for my massive crossover and will show at a later time)! This was drawn the day after my 24th birthday last October, being the next character I drew after a rather impressive drawing of Ulala from Space Channel 5 that I might release in this year’s The 25 Days of Deviant Art.
Also, I’m now delaying the full release of Multiversal Collide, the project this was made for, by a year to give myself more time to draw the added [adult swim] and Atlus characters. I previously made the announcement last November with Chowder and Ristar that it would come out this Christmas, but then my mom, brother, and I all got in a car crash the very next week during a long drive to our cousins’ house, and the mental trauma that we all faced from it affected my creative drive, so I’m giving myself this extra time to both continue healing from that moment and give this crossover the full polish that it always deserved ever since I first started wanting to make a Cartoon Network/Sega crossover when I was 14 and started really getting into Gumball. And while I’m still talking about this project, here’s the list of new characters that I drew for it after release of Radicles and Knuckles last April:
- Richard Watterson (The Amazing World of Gumball).
- Nigel Uno, Hoagie Gilligan Jr., Kuki Sanban, Wally Beatles, and Abby Lincoln (a.k.a. Numbuhs 1-5) (Codename: Kids Next Door).
- Axel Stone (Streets of Rage).
- Lumpy Space Princess (Adventure Time).
- Chaz Ashley and Alys Brangwin (Phantasy Star IV).
- Lance (Sym-Bionic Titan).
- Zephyr (Resonance of Fate).
- Thomas Rogan (The House of the Dead).
- Harrier (Space Harrier).
- Beat and Gum (Jet Set Radio).
- Clarence (Clarence).
- Ali (Beyond Oasis).
- Prince Ivandoe & Bert (The Heroic Quest of the Valiant Prince Ivandoe; these are paired into one entry because Bert is so small).
- Athra, Johnny, and Betty (Gain Ground).
- Lazlo (Camp Lazlo).
- Vambre and Prohyas (Mighty Magiswords).
Johnny Bravo is owned by Warner Bros. and Cartoon Network.
