Hello everyone that clicked/tapped on this deviation. Here's a finished design I've had in my sketchbook for a while now, so I think it's about time I posted it on here. I had a lot of fun doing this particular one:

"The Verdant Flame is an ancient blade said to have been forged with the combined efforts of a forest fairy and an expert blacksmith in the days of old. Despite its shiny green blade that suggests it might be a weapon with an affinity for life, the Verdant Flame is a surprisingly hot sword. While cool to the touch when standing by or held normally by the user, when it comes into contact with anything that isn't the user, the blade's temperature instantly rises up to 10,000°F (half the temperature of the Infernal Morningstar). Interestingly, no UV rays comes out from the blade, (just like the Infernal Morningstar). It also has retractable spikes on each side of the blade, further adding to the damage it can do. In addition, the light weight of the blade and solid durability makes it not only easy to wield, but also reliable for long battles It is rumored that the reason behind this sword's weird ability to become super hot stems from the myth of this weapon; the same forest fairy rumored to have helped create this weapon died in a lethal forest fire, and as she succumbed to her burns, she used the last of her power the make the blade hotter than the the forest fire that killed her if the blade hit anything expect its user....."

So yeah, that last part just might have made this the most disturbing backstory I've given for any of these weapons so far O_o. But I hope you all enjoy regardless.
