And this kiddos is why we never anger a mother of any species... She will go grizzly-werewolf hybrid on you... Side Note: grizzly-werewolf hybrids sound absolutely terrifying and also sounds like something that would probably exist in some whacked out universe

Man, this alone just made me want to read Deathly Hallows again. There are so many little epic moments like this in the last few books, and it's always brilliant to see them dramatically illustrated. It might be relatively simple compared to a 'true' graphic adaption of the scene, but I absolutely love the emotion and attention to detail! The not-quite-shocked expression on Bellatrix's face when the killing curse lands, that expression of "Oh, she managed to hit me after all," is just icing on the cake~

the dumbest scene in books: one of the strongest death eaters with years of combat expirience against a housewife. It should be obvious who will win, but noooo

We only really see the kids perspective, we never did see what Molly was capable of beforehand. There are some clues to her being strong. The first war entire families were murdered for the slightest infractions towards Death Eaters and Voldemort. Her brothers were in the Order of the Phoenix, her husband worked for the ministry and her family were well known βblood traitorsβ. Any one of those βinfractionsβ could have had Death Eaters come to her home and she would be the only one present to protect herself and a few small children, so I imagine she learned how to defend herself pretty quickly. Then there was one part in book 5 that said she would be on guard duty at the Department of Mysteries. This meant she would have to be prepared to face Death Eaters or Ministry officials who may end up discovering her as what she and other members of the Order were doing was illegal as the Ministry didnβt want to admit Voldemort had come back to power. Since her comrades were well known powerful wizards and witches, I would imagine they wouldnβt let her go if they didnβt have confidence in her skills. Bellatrix also underestimated Molly and by not taking her seriously allowed herself to be open to an attack hat hit her right in the heart.

Honestly, my favorite part of this scene is "NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BITCHβ and there are a couple reasons why, but the biggest part of it is that throughout the series, J. K. Rowling tries to keep the whole cursing thing to a minimum, although she allows her characters to curse by describing it as "Ron proceeded to say something about Draco that caused Hermione to hit him on the shoulder with her Arithmancy book" or something. But in this scene, this one scene alone, Molly's sheer force of anger allows her to completely bypass this censoring method and just straight up call Bellatrix whatever she wanted. It's beautiful

Love this bit! Love how straight after Voldemort tries to hit Molly with a curse and Harry shields her while invisible and then does the awesomest reveal and it's just too much badass on a single page D:

Bella for obvious reasons, but Mrs. Weasley can be very rude. Remember in the fifth book when she was mean to Sirius in his own home? He could have just kicked her out but you could tell he was trying to be polite.

She had her reasons to be stressed. She was a mom and she wanted best for her family. They were in dreadful situation in the book then and you know how people tend to overreact when stressed.
