Malfoy glanced sideways at his wife. She was staring straight ahead, quite as pale as he was, her long blonde hair hanging down her back, but beneath the table her slim fingers closed briefly on his wrist. At her touch, Malfoy put his hand into his robes, withdrew a wand, and passed it along to Voldemort, who held it up in front of his red eyes, examining it closely.

I had completely forgotten about that moment in the books, but scenes like this show that JK did go just that bit deeper than necesary. The little scenes like this made the Death Eaters a more human. They were still the evil guys but they weren't just this faceless and unnameble evil force ... they were also people. Granted most of them weren't really the best example of what mankind offers, but they were still depicted as people.
While I think Lucius was a stuck-up bastard throughout the books and kind of dislike it when he gets redeemed in fanfics or his involvement gets seriously toned down, by the end of the series he was just hanging on and hoping to get himself and his family out alive.
I think you captured that feeling and situation really well in your depiction of this scene.
I adore your voldemort, he is rather delicate - the wispyness, the long neck & fingers, ... - but still seriously eminates this evilness and threating auro.
Lucius' shock, then confussion about what to do were very realistic - espicially the eyes were brilliant. Plus, thiqs will sound weird - but I really liked his chin; it showed the very defined - "pointy" - bonestructure JK always eludes to, without making it comically "pointy".
But while your Voldemort and Lucius were amazing, I have got to say your Narcissa was my fav. Her face, her hair, the dress - loved that it was purple and that it was not black or green or silver - all was just absolutely perfect and spot on.

You have brought such a deep understanding and sympathy to the Malfoy family that the movies never did. This one is right up there with the one where Narcissa Malfoy cannot sleep because Lucius isn't there.
