I'm so happy Chrom married my ingame Avatar/character and not the actual me.I'd be an awful queen XD Way too many responsibilities and people judging my every step.
Anytime a character in Fire Emblem Awakening confesses, I just go full Β -mode.
Chrom is also super adorable when he does that! So I wanted to draw that!
I duplicated Fire Emblem's screen where the characters confess their feelings.
Maybe I'll draw more adorable confessions of Fire Emblem characters.
Maybe Gaius or Lon'qu next

I still fumble around a lot with hair xD But I can tell you how I generally go about with it:
1) Start with a base colour.
2) Add shadows. Keep locks of hair in mind.
3) And then draw a whoooole bunch of lines at differing opacities. If you have a brushes that draw multiple lines, switch between them :3
4) you can always use a little bit of airbrush to correct the shadows a little bit and then voìla.
Awakening is also my favourite Fire Emblem. Mainly because it's the first one I really got into and it has the nicest box art imo xD (so shiny). The confession scenes are sooo adorable!

Exactly! Confessionscenes are so immensely adorable and I love how you can get so many characters together and have these adorable scenes play out
