Another cool angle of my build. I've been thinking about further decorations. I've been watching more of Raphaels videos (Epic Cardboard Props), I feel like I could add more.

I wanted this to look like a paladin broadsword, so I made it tanky with the comically large hilt guard and blade width (compared to historical norms). Now I'm after the decorations to make it more holy-knight-tank-healer-esque, any input would be great! I got my inspiration from AdventureQuest paladins

I'm thinking cardboard gems with surrounding inlay on the raised cardboard on the hilt guard
Some kind of thin, connected inlay between the raised parts of the guard that travels from the base of the hilt guard to the base of the blade, maybe like a corrupted holy sword kinda look (like in the main plot of AdventureQuest xD), like the gems at the pommel are corrupted red/purple w/tendrils around them that travel along the grip to the guard, where the gems are blue/white except a few corrupted ones which are red and purple like the pommel
Add gilding to the base of the blade and also gems or words, gems, inlay, or words on the pommel somehow
Add a thin strip wrapped along the grip to define its the line that travels down it
I wanna put something on the flat base but I'm not sure what, thoughts?
