final commission, fluttershy with her element of harmony forfluttershy's always nice to make. her personality is so easy to get through in plush form, for some reason. this time i really wanted to get the placement of her top mane right, hanging out by her face. she has no wires in her. having rarity's hair pattern helped. her necklace is made from satin, embroidered with my machine, and is removable.
so commissions are done - i'm going to make a filly pattern now, probably get a few out of my system then open up again for commissions in the future.

it's very easy to design if you just trace the basic pattern of the necklace that you can find on google.

This is the best Fluttershy plushie ever made. Not only is she made even more beautiful by her Element of Harmony, but her tail lays so beautifully. A superior job well done, in all aspects. Thank you for sharing this.

I think I might start using that for Fluttershy. I know in the show her mane is the same color as Pinkie's body, but I feel like the bubblegum/hot pink is a bit vibrant for her. The dusty rose looks so nice with the yellow! Do you order it from Xo Gigi? Dusty rose is one of the few colors I can't get at Fabric Depot

yeah i know, when deciding what color to use i noticed her matching pinkie's body too. but i don't like dusty rose for pinkie. i've actually had this fabric since minky delight was open, but i'm sure xo gigi will be the same

Yeah Pinkie definitely needs to be bubblegum I think, dusty rose is too subtle and soft for her wacky personality. I wonder how dusty rose would look for Cadance? She's very close to Pinkie's color but not exactly the same so I was thinking about using Paris Pink for her, but maybe dusty rose would be prettier! I'll have to order some eventually I just wish there were any other colors I wanted from Xo Gigi. I hate only ordering one yard of fabric online. The shipping prices add so much to the cost per yard when you are only buying one.

Dusty rose probably would look nice for her! Yeah ordering fabric online is the worst. I'd always leave it as an absolute last resort for cosplay because buying so many different types without a constant brand you never really know what you're getting. I'm lucky xo gigi is in Florida, it helps cut down on shipping. But I do wish they'd stock more colors.

I thought I'd order ash when I ordered dusty rose, but then Fabric Depot started carrying it. Dusty blue is one color Xo Gigi has that Fabric Depot doesn't, but I just got some of that from Minky Boutique so I don't need more. I guess I could get the sunny yellow from them to see what it's like, though I don't know who I'd use it on!

They will sell swatches if you email them. I got a mauve swatch from them before Fabric Depot started carrying it.
