Miss Kitty is a concept/manip of my little sister Alex. This is my first photoshop attempt. I am really enjoying it so far. This piece took around 7-8 hours in CS4 with a Wacom tablet.Lemme know what you guys think about one of my first attempts.

Very well done Rachel. Did you use layer masking and did you play around with opacity? CS4 is so cool. I haven't purchased a wacom tablet yet. How much easier is it with the tablet?

I haven't used layer masking before. Its just tons of layers that I did different colors on and junk. I make a group separate for each thing....hair...eyes...then when I have the group to my liking I merge all the layers in that group and play with it like that. Most of it is hand drawn onto her face including all the tiny crazy fur lol...it took a while but not as long as I thought it would take me.

Thank you very much Blue. I had a lot of fun with it but it took a lot longer than I thought. I printed it out and it looks nice on gloss paper. lol
