P E R S O N A L I T YDespite Ba-shar's quiet nature, the large rough-coated male is quite approachable. He has that sort of aura that invites people to strike conversation with him, but do not expect a long talk of politics or philosophy, as you will not find it here. Ba-shar uses light wit to evade topics about himself, for he is not one to brag as his was always schooled by his late mother in humbleness and humility. It is unknown just how religious this nokhoi is as he likes to believe he is aloof, when really he is just secluded in his own hidden emotions. This curly black boy is not shy; he just doesn't let people close, perhaps, on some deep and traumatic level, he doesn't trust others with his emotions or his heart. Ba-shar is usually known for an even temper, but that does not exclude him from bursts of emotion or mood swings on occasion especially of one does try to pry into the things he would rather keep hidden. To an extent, this black boy is terrified of his own emotions, he would rather stone himself away than feel.

H I S T O R Y
Born in Cetonia as the eldest son of the Pack leader, Bashar had always been a bright vibrant and out going young male. His had a good relatonship with his father and packmates and would always dote on his little brother whom he loved dearly. Despite the age difference Ba-shar enjoyed being with his brother, who had become the light of his life, doing everything with the young boy; teaching him to hunt and swim. His brother became his center of pride and joy. This Dedication to his brother kindled an admiration between the whole costal pack and within Bashar's parents who, upon Bashar's 12th birthday dubbed the dark male as sole heir to the alpha position. This of course meant that he would officially begin dimplomatic training. Sadly due to his new duties Ba-shar could no longer see his brother as often as he used to.
The duty of watching the young boy fell to Ba-shar's chidhood friend. Ba-shar would often see the two playing along the coastline as he was studying. Month after month he would watch, wishing to be there with them, to watch his brother grow and develop into a member of the pack, wishing to run on the beach free with his best friend and feeling the wind in their fur. His longing soon turned to bitter jealousy and resentment. He found himself snapping at the two in his free time rather than bondin with them. Their relationships strained.
On the eve of His younger brother's first birthday, a storm was set to strike, no one heeded the Shamans warnings and prepared for celebrations anyway. That day Ba-shar had the day off of his duties and training, but instead of looking for his loved ones, the older male hid in the hills, away from the pack and festivities. The sky began to grow dark by the time Ba-shar turned to head home, not because of it getting late, but because of the storm getting closer and closer to land.
Something grew in the young Nokhoi at that moment-- a knot in the put of his stomach-- dread. He raced home, from his vantage point he could see a huge wave come hurtling towad his home, his family fleeing to higher ground, but the pelt he recognized as his mother running into the opposite direction. He followed her direction of travel, on the shore line, running as fast as she could was his childhood friend, his younger brother in her jaws as they rushed from the violent shoreline.
It was enough to have Ba-shar moving, racing down toward his father to tell him what he saw, to send help-- but it was all too late. The wave approached as the three tried to outrun it, crashed to shore. The rush of water was too fast, Bashar could only watch in horror as three of the nohkoi he loved the most, admist many other dogs who resigned themselves to the wave vanished before his eyes. It was a horrid day, one that was supposed to be filled with joy, only left sorrow in its wake.
For days Ba-shar searched the coastline, hoping to find his brother, his mother and best friend somewhere-- alive, but his small party could only bring back their poor mother, bloated and waterlogged.
These events changed Ba-shar, the vibrance left his eyes as he withdrew to himself in depression. he continues his studies and does what he can for the children of the pack especially those who lost their families in the great disaster. The whereabouts of the two pups remains a mystery.
