Beautiful Target #97

Another day, another gem adventure. Returning to the empty field, Target knew where the gems were. She quietly waited in the brush for the crows and ravens to return.

I know you are there, you pests, Target spat at the last word. Target hated the flying, feathery creatures. Other than gem hunting, Targets favorite game, or sport, is to hunt pests. She loved to crush their bones, between her teeth and beneath her feet. The snapping of their bones brought her much pleasure, plus are a yummy snack. Caw! Caw!

Finally. Target could hear the sounds of their wings, beating against the air as they flew between the trees. Stupid pests. Target stared at the birds as they started to peck at the soil, her mouth starting to salivate. After watching the birds for a few hours, her attention was drawn to a small family of deer. Noticing that the two fawns were head-butting, making a rather loud sound. One of the fawns trips, rolling into it's sibling. As the siblings rolled, a glint of something shiny caught Target's eye.

Seeing that both groups of animals had found gems, Target knew it was time to head in. Target knew where the gems were being left. She let out a loud roar, scaring the deer and the birds. Time to go. Target crashed through the brush she was hiding in, grabbing at the birds who where flying past her. Damn pests. Why can't you all stay still. Letting out a second roar, she grabs a large raven who was distracted by a rather large gem. Swinging the bird, Target loses her grip on it. The bird is then thrown into the air, crashing into one of the larger deer running away. The force of the crash sends both animals flying into a tree, breaking many bones.

After gathering all the gems left behind, Target goes to gather her snack. Surprised to see two snacks instead of one, Target give a wide smile I was quiet hungry today. Today was a very successful day.
