apparently she's/they're immune to genjutsu, although like her mother(s), she is/they are genjutsu herself/themselves.

Sakura is immune to genjutsu,not Hinata so Hima-chan isn't either.

I am afraid that you have your information wrong. Sakura is only good at detecting them. Not immune. Hinata on the other hand does have the Byakugan which should also help her against Genjutsu and if not? Remember she studied under a MASTER of the Subject. I am sure Kurenai taught them about Genjutsu.
