My Dream Saga lore is a little rusty, so are the cats of Ulthar connected to Bast - either in Lovecraft's writings or later authors'? I recall seeing her listed as one of the post-Lovecraft "Elder Gods".

Later authors draw the connection. I think it was August Derleth...? (It's his fault most of the times lol).
