Description
Character armor concepts of end game equipment for a cancelled project.I was asked to make character designs that would still work on the existing skeleton but not match the usual knight silhouette. I really like the castle one.

I wished that spartan looking armor made it into the game so I did not have to get creative and make my own spartan looking armor.

Your artwork along with the simple gameplay of spiral knights its what made me to enjoy the game a lot, shame endend in this way.
Also why Chinese Snake Year didnt got any promo? :c i feel pretty bad my chinese sign didnt got any promofor that year but horse and monkey did, now i will have the doubt on how awesome would have looked a snake armor designed from your hand.

Loving the art dump here! Spiral Knights has one of the most charming art styles I've seen in any game as of recently, so it's always a treat to see more from the source. However, I'm curious;
Was all of this concept art drawn specifically for the (now cancelled) Rise of Knights game, or was there talk of this content being included within Spiral Knights itself going on at some point? If so, that's a bit of a shame, I would have loved to have seen these ideas come to life.
