Description
So has been putting up some concepts of some friends' characters in the Peppered! style, and ideas have been tossed around as to how they'd fit into the universe. I guess it's my turn to give it a shot then. Thus, this is my own take on these two characters; the initial art I made is above, and below they were given a few tweaks and colors.

To the left, we have 's own Ion, a robotic Absol that's not much into fighting. I'm told it has some flaws in its programming, but hopefully it's nothing too damaging. Since Ion is typically portrayed with a more dog-like face (hence the long muzzle), I'd recently been thinking of it as an "Absolyne," or a canine Absol. I'd use the letter "I" instead of "Y" if the resulting term didn't look like a petroleum alternative.

To the right is 's character Zarel, apparently re-emerging from a long absence (and losing some height in the process, it seems). He likes to act all cool, but he can be a bit of a softy. He is quite competitive though, and isn't afraid to strut his stuff when the opportunity arises. I did make a very slight alteration to the head, adding a spike to the back, just because I felt like the back of the head was missing something.
