A pencil drawing of a character known as Avalon, which seemed to spur from a random thought.

There's little I'm able to say about Avalon in terms of biography or purpose at the moment. So let's instead focus on the "physiology" first.

The appearance is heavily designed after a bird (a crow or raven, perhaps), what with the helmet and "wings" all fashioned from a hard yet light metal. There is also a "tail" in the back. The eyes, what look like goggles, glow a bright red. The wings are expanded here, but can collapse to half the length; they aren't the most ideal for flying, but they appear capable of gliding, and can double as a shield by using both wings to enclose the front. There are two thick metal stripes on each side of the coat, almost looking like claws from the front and back.

Aside from the bird-like details, another metallic detail is the chest and shoulder plates. Partly meant or protection, the chestplate bears a speaker, which projects Avalon's speech (oddly, the speech is artificial). There is apparently a connection between the chestplate and the helmet.

Finally, the most intriguing detail is the left arm, known as the Flex Cannon. Its unusual design allows it to be used as a regular arm, but also as both a gatling gun and a chargeable cannon, utilizing a powerful laser technology. It also has the potential to stretch roughly 2 1/2 times its default length, and is used at times as a grapple.

Other details of Avalon are very much unknown; the attire fully conceals whatever actual person is wearing it, and there's no indication that Avalon will reveal it. Very quiet, Avalon says little to anyone, even allies (if any). Similarly, Avalon's personal life is unknown.

Of note: At the time I continued to think about Avalon as part of a team called "The Force." DT-Fox knows about this team more than I do though, so if that's not possible, Avalon has another potential role.
