Lets give interpretation a shot.

I would say that the artwork is presenting the power, strength, and the horror and of biochemistry, as evidenced by the molecules, the word malaria - disease - and the swirl of particles, forming a tower of stars to a planetoid. This tower of celestial objects may imply the insignificance, but more so, the fragility of humans, so easily come and so cruelly succumbed to chemical warfare and deadly disease.
