I was lucky to have such fog that day as it increased the feel of loneliness that I wanted to create.

On a clear day you see more of the Black Forest and how the valley rises up until it vanishes behind the next ridge. The Mt. Belchen isn't too far away and from there you can have great views, in optimal conditions you can see most of the peaks of the Alps.
