Description Even though the first or even second view won't let one think so, this is the "Maria-Magdalena"-Church in Freiburg, in the city"quarter" Rieselfeld (Germany) - without the coss on the outer wall I would never have guessed it.

That church is in fact two churches in one - the catholic and the evangelical church share the building. They are seperated by a wall that can be (re)moved for joined ecumenical service.

Building was started in 2002 and finished 2004.

It is not really a beauty with all those concrete walls, but it offers interesting views (one of the entrance area I have already posted here: [link]

++++

This photo is a 3-shot panorama, as one has to get relatively close to it if you don't want small trees to clutter the front and hide a part of the building.

It was an architecture bureau based in Cologne that created the plans for this building:

Very nice shot! Watch yer sky though, you are getting checking in it. Also there is a blotch in the middle just above the building Thought you should know. The colors and how vivid they are, really show nicely!

Thank you very much for the comment - I'll check that blotch out asap and correct it.

Thank you very much for the comment.

I don't like it all that much, but it is very interesting at the same time.
