Description Whenever I was DMing a pathfinder game a while back I ended up drawing a bunch of creatures and monsters to appear in the actual game and setting, this was the first of those. The BlackTide Seeker.

Lore - Known locally as the 'Black Tide' these creatures are from an era of great war, which brought many heroes to the ranks of kings, emperors and governors due simply to the high lethality of these creatures. they're a species based entirely around the concept of assimilation and even a single drop of blood can cause an assimilation affect which results in an individual becoming one of them. Due to this any city they attacked was considered a lost cause and any injury they dealt was considered fatal. Eventually the hero-kings of old joined their forces and created an order of knights to track them to their home and extinguish the threat, a mission eventually successful. The reappearance of even one of these could mean the start of a new war.

These creatures are often mutated to a certain degree dependant on what they were or what condition they were in prior to becoming Blacktide and this particular one was drawn with only one leg for reasons of it implied that it was once something that wasn't Blacktide and thus not the source of infestation.

The Seeker is considered one of the lowest forms of these creatures, completely dependant on orders given by a stronger consciousness and without them feral, lashing out and killing everything in sight with little interest in assimilation.
