Makorra's not freaking Zutara or "Zutara 2.0". It's getting ridiculous. The only similarities they have are superficial. Both are different characters, and other than "brooding", Mako has nothing else in common with Zuko personality-wise.

'everybody does it' is a pathetic card. Those who do it are relativly numbered and usually don't get much attention. She is the only one who has the means or the luck to get her spoiler to page 4 or 5 of the main gallery. You wouldn't expect a so blatant presentation of a spoiler for Korra there, so this is not the place.
When she wanted to share this with her pals and not for totally art unrelated attention, she could have made a journal entry or something. Of course shes free to post it - but she shouldn't.
