Guess who~? No, seriously, guess. Cookie to the first one~!

So, as I said in my latest journal, I love the book series "The Secrets of The Immortal Nicholas Flamel", so I'm adding a character of my own design! The book series focuses on the alchemist Nicholas Flamel, his wife, the sorceress Perenelle Flamel (she's the seventh daughter of a seventh daughter, so natural magical abilities right there), the evil sorcerer and former Victorian spy, John Dee, the immortal warrior of Irish mythology, Scathach, and magical modern day twins, Josh and Sophie. It features many historical and mythological figures, such as gods and goddesses of past cultures, who are known in the book as the Elder Race and used to live on the Isle of Danu Talis (Atlantis).

This is a member of the Elder Race, a mythological figure only mentioned in the book series as living in San Francisco. In my story for her, she is a friend of Nicholas and Perenelle and worked in their book shop in San Francisco because the majority of her powers were sealed away by the more powerful of her race due to her inadvertently causing WWI, which lead to WW2, which lead to so many other wars across the world. She managed to accomplish this by setting up a target for a Serbian Nationalist group to take down, i.e., Archduke Franz Ferdinand. Why did she do this? Shits and giggles. This also ain't her first time doing something like this. Should provide you with a pretty big hint as to who this is. Anyway, she's been spending the better part of a century paying for it without her powers. She used to be bitter about it, but now she understands it all, to a point. Nicholas fears that she would do anything to get her powers back, including turning to the Dark Elders. She likes to think that won't ever happen, but she can't deny that she has been tempted on more than one occasion by her immortal siblings and the like.

The title of this pic is an homage to the tiles of the books, The Alchemist being the first one, The Magician, being the second, followed by The Sorceress, The Necromancer, The Warlock, and The Enchantress.
