OK, I am painting with Ross
, the man is a great artist and I really enjoy his art. Since I am from Europe, I've only heard of this man only recently. I found this youtube video of him painting a mountain on a fake wood, and I thought I could try to simulate this technique in Photoshop.Now I am watching his videos and painting with him. This painting is done watching Bob Ross painting his "Peaceful reflections", I only added the dragons and I now call it "Dragon Mountain", yeah I had to make it more fantasy.
I think of this as an exercise, because I really love the way this style feels and the result it brings out on the surface.
Although I am not as fast as the master him self, I managed to paint this in three hours time. Some custom brushes are made, but palette knife was simulated with Calligraphy brushes and smudge tool.
Hope you enjoyed, and I promise if you will see more of this style from me.

Ne!!! Samo ne Eragon!!!!!!
Stvarno mi je zao ako te to mozda uvredi, ali ne smatram da je Eragon vredan bilo cije paznje, osim osoba predskolskog uzrasta. Vec dosta vremena se bavim fantasy rpg-ovima i veliki sam fan Tolkina i Eragon stavljam u grupu filmova kao sto su D&D 1 i 2, dakle dosta nisko.
Neverovatno je koliko mocnih prica i knjiga postoji na ovom svetu, a snimaju se tako imbecilna ostvarenja. Cist dokaz da dobra dela retko uspevaju na filmu je i cinjenica da je do sada snimljen samo jedan film po knjigama Tery Pratchet-a, i to u televizijskom izdanju

Ne vredjam se.Eragon kao knjiga je OK,ali ima samo jednu veliku manu-clichΓ©.(Da li si gledao/citao "Zemljomorije" ili bilo sta o zmajevim jahacima Perna ?)
Sto se filma "Eragon" tice tu se slazemo.(Mislim,zmaj ima perje...) kao i za D&D (Vilenjaci koriste samostrele...)Za D&D 2 nisam do sada cula,moram ga pogledati kad budem imala vremena.(Sta cu,kad volim da se nerviram ? 
Sto se Terry Prachet-a tice ekranizovali su pogresan film.Da su snimili bilo sta o Disksvetu bilo bi extra.I bilo naravno vise filmova.

Pa u sustini The Hogfather i jeste iz disk sveta
inace vecina Prachet-ovih knjiga je bilo otkupljeno u scenarijo varijanti, u nekih poslednjih 15 godina, ali ni jedno nije ostvareno filmski, tako da sumnjam da je Holiwood otvoren za takve skokove u kvalitetu fantasy radova...

Slika je stvarno odlicno odradjena i mogu da kazem SVAKA CAST! Prvo me je podsetila na neki serijal koji trenutno citam (Tocak vremena - mozda si cuo) tj. tamo ima Dragon Mountain. I da, sliku cu da stavim u "omiljene" tj.
Svaka cast jos jednom i samo tako nastavi...

good job but i think it's more of his style than yours ,as he does it step by step, i didnt even have to read the artist description before i went "WHAT? BOB ROSS HAS BEEN HERE!" LOL dragons make it more "you" . bob passed away sadly, an awsomly flaky artist

Thanks, and yes it is definitely more of his style, I am still master-copying his work to get the better feel for way the brushes and strokes work. That is always a problem when your are autodidact, I have to rely on my own ways to find the sources of the knowledge. I've heard people made fun out of him, but than again this world is going to hell anyway, so nothing will probably change
And I head there is a game, but it is supposed yet to be announced or something?
