If I may ask, can I get your opinion on how you went about using SAI and Photoshop? Did you draw the base of the pony in SAI, and added more details and background in Photoshop? Or is there more to it than that?

First I do a quick sketch and outlines in SAI. -------(sta.sh/01dmig3b3bmk )
After, (still in SAI) I make corrections, color it and do main lights and shadows.Β -------(sta.sh/010tf3u0o0gz )---(sta.sh/0i49miyx0nh )
Then, I convert to Photoshop and do additional shading.Β -------(sta.sh/01id3wqcizln )
Then background - usually it fully in Photoshop. But sometimes I also do some background details in SAI before.Β -------(sta.sh/01vrhxef2i8u )
And when a character and background are fully completed. I do control, final lights and shadows of the full picture in Photoshop.Β -------(sta.sh/0mwbo1oo4nh )
