Little side-projects like this are keeping me going through a heavy series of commissions. Don't ask where the time comes from.

The Emberguard is in the same world (and the same army) as the characters in "The Blind" and "O Underkin", but while I finish the latter, I thought it'd be appropriate to introduce the militant magic aspect going on.
