Description You enter the cave. It is dark. You are likely to be eaten by a Grue.

Or a mountain-lion.

While we were hiking, we spotted a strange rocky out-crop. It looked almost man-made from the trail, and I had never seen it before. I've never been up in Mohawk Trail State Forest this early in the season, before tree-cover had grown in, so even though this thing was only about one or two-hundred feet off the path, it'd gone unnoticed by me for all my years of walking up and down it.

Anyhow, we took a closer look, at my insistence: Knosebleed ([link] ) seemed apprehensive for most of the time out in the forest, but I'm sure she'll grow to love it just as I have. Not to say her nervousness was without merit. As we headed off the path towards the formation- which was now clearly a cave entrance- she called my attention to an embankment nearby; it was littered with bone-fragments and an intact spine and rib-cage of a young deer. I snapped a photo of that. [link]

Naturally, I wanted a closer look... [link]
