Description asked me to take a crack at one of the characters from his western action story, and I chose the protagonist Sahara Brooks. And then I took many many liberties in the rendering of her, hopefully not to the distaste of her creator. My goal on this one, being as this is part of a crazy-go-nuts action universe, was to exaggerate EVERYTHING...grit, guns, girly parts...everything.

hahah this is just very fun. I love how animated and over the top this gal is. Nice work. I totally hear the southern belle jargon babbling outta her.
And uh, nice camel.

I was wondering if the crotch area was reading right. I intended the dark "camel" part to be a section of the rear showing, with the actual crotch starting just above where the jean fly starts. If that makes any sense to anyone. Or maybe I'm learning too much about drawing women from anime.

I like the holes in the hat, the color, the pose, the composition. Everything seems to be in motion. Very cool.

Thanks! It helps to give these figures a lot of flowing elements, like long hair, clothes, legs, etc. to illustrate the direction of the action.

love the way you've fluidly inked her. the distribution of the tones just inspired me on how i'd approach to color one of my old inked toon piece that i can't seem to find the guts to finish.

Holy spazolie that's awesome! The orangeness gives it that classic western feel and those guns are just awesome.

You've just remotivated me to do some Wembie art.

You and your dastardly Wembie plot has succeeded!

Hahaha! I can't even BEGIN to describe how awesome this is. I really love some of the elements you've added to her, and I'll probably end up using some- I like the idea of a cloaky-coat thing, and the pie guns are totally badass. I can't believe I didn't think to give her a redundantly LONG gun, I'm totally snatching that.
The bullet sitting on her hat is awesome too. The orange tone is really cool, I've always imagined an orangey-brown colour scheme for her so that came out great.
LASTLY, the goofy facial expression is classic, and I really love how you've brought your own style to this.
I probably have more to say, this is so cool it's scaled and surpassed the thermometer of badassery, but I'd probably just start repeating what I've already said. Thanks for this!

I'm glad you like it! When I got around to drawing this version I went with a sort of Lupin III style with it to get at the right feel I wanted. I was thinking about coloring it with her regular colors, but since I didn't know what those were, I decided not to impose anything of my own and go with this monotone treatment. And when I thought about Onepiece and Lupin I thought she needed to be showing more skin, hence the flimsy long-tailed open shirt and the pant holes. So that's that.

Haha, it's totally awesome, though I'm unfamiliar with Lupin. Thanks again for doing this, it's really really cool. I love the flimsy clothes, and I'll probably end up using a similar outfit- either for a certain situation or borrow elements to add to another character. I don't think I've mentioned how awesome I think this is. Thanks again!
