Very cute, and very strange at the same time... Why does it have such gigantic ears? Because it needs them, maybe. But maybe it's a genetic quirk that should have disappeared in a generation or two, but persists because people think it's cute. The British "bulldog" is like that.

It is a fox living in the deserts, the reason they have such huge ears is that the big surface helps them with transpiration in these hot areas.
