Underwater photos aren't easy to do but the quality is ok to be worked. I follow stock images about since 10 years and i know the differences between a useless image and useful image
For example this following shot ----> orig04.deviantart.net/17ff/f/2… is perfect because the structure is well legible....its well legible because the noise is minimum and the depth of field is well controlled...but above all the general neutral lighting is excellent!
other example ----> orig11.deviantart.net/bf91/f/2… the quality is low because the DoF isn't not well on focus but the image is still usable because I can take advantage of that blur to my advantage...in few words i save time adding DoF because is already prepared!

zooming in in this image orig14.deviantart.net/ff6e/f/2… we can see noise + Blur...and in this case i love them in this way....because i don't touch them....and in the Manip. i save precious time! At max i use on them only color balance and some other adjustment layer to control their tonal contrast...noise and blur are perfect so i don't must add them.
so don't worry
