Gah, that's very sad. She doesn't even get a face. Looks like the death came as a complete surprise. Like she accidently got shot or something. I think this is very expressive in its simplicity. I don't think you have to redo this. It's perfect.

Okay, first off, big haunking wowness... I love the use of negative space.. the color of the blood is great and there's not too much of it, so rock on there... and I went for full view and caught the "damn" caption, and that just made me smile all over the place. The shading is so supurb, and i love the expressiveness of this, even if you can't see her expression fully. Truly, great proportions, great body on the cat, and just greatness all around. for sure.

I adore this. I love images where you cannot really see the characters face and yet the image is still strong. The title is superb, as well, though it may appear quite simple. Love it. Instant fave.
