Description Copic marker practice with the set of greys that I bought in November. The dappled effect was created by using a Letraset marker blending pen on the inks after I had coloured the horse. The eyes were done with henna letraset and a brown stabilo marker. The background is diluted tea and what I think is either Venetian red orIndian red watercolour applied by dabbing with cotton wool.

Oh, I love this, at first I thoug it was watercolour but then I read the description. Great use of grey, its a warm grey, not the messy grey everyone tends to make use of.

I got a gazillion shades of grey copic and mixed them all, so there Cold and Warm and something which I think is called Temperate: it's a brownish grey shade. You're right, it does look a bit like watercolour: probably because of the way I blended it with the blending pen: it softens the marker strokes

Thanks. Markers have an unfortunate side effect of making you high when you use them though.
