recently i have started to become interested in the old, traditional japanese art, so this sketch stems from that. i used a woodblock print by hokusai as a reference.

YES! Old japanese woodblocks are beautiful. I love Hokusai and Hiroshige as well. Marvelous job capturing that feeling with this piece.
