Watched TF Prime 5-series Pilot.And I should say it's the dumbest tf-related show ever.
The only three things I liked: decepticons (except Megatron, 'cause it's NOT Megatron - it's quite possibly Galvatron but no way it can be Almighty rational Megatron), Arcee and Jack.
All that crap we've got in Bay-verse we have here too. Even same phrases!
The show has No. Logic. At. All. Not a bit. It's just hundreds of grand pianos in bushes.
Sorry for this idiom - it's close to deus ex machina btw.
It's Ok. It's pretty interesting to watch once. If you forget it's about TF. 'cause it's not.

Surprised you didn't change your mind though: you're the only fangirl I know of who didn't do an about-face once the new hotness that is Knockout came onto the scene. But that'd be stereotypical.

Well, that opinion was made when I've watched first 5 series. And I didn't change it for this 5 series.
All other series - which have no global events - were pretty fine. Decepticons are still awesome (just remember Starscream's expressions), Megatron still acts not like Megatron, but he improves! And he has nice swag and voice. I think, Optimus should learn how to party, and there should be more June, Fowler and Sylus (not sure about spelling). I even like Miko, dunno why so much people hate her - girl is like what, 14? There're dozens of Miko around.
The great thing about this show is humor. This part is awesome - creators often walk on the edge of permitted and you not always sure for whom was that joke - kids or adults.
Thing with Unicron is great too - there's no logic at all, but creators really brought something new in TF universe (wow). But as it was with the pilot, ending of season was good at the beginning and fucked up at the very end.
Incredibly good humor. And unbelievably bad drama.

Well I'm not entirely sure when people decided that Transformers' shows should be logical since... none of them are, but I really like this picture.
I especially like how the sharpness is focused on his face and the rest of him is blurred

there's something so scratchy and mysterious about this...it makes it very compelling. AWESOME JOB MAN. but I don't agree with your view on tfp...I personally think of it as one of my favorites. oh well. we all have our opinions I suppose...

Compared to other Transformers' series, 'Prime' is definitely not the worst. Definitely not the 'best' persce, but all in all an enjoyable time-waster. As a twenty-something kid at heart that still remember's the original Transformer's from the 80's, 'Prime' is light years ahead of most of its predecessors and my new secret guilty pleasure. Plus, the new Starscream is so slimy you can't but love to hate him. Awesome pic. You've totally captured his essence. Two thumbs up. I want to see more like it soon.

I agree with you on some points but I don't believe that it's the dumbest. The first time I saw the current 5 episodes the first comment to pop out of my head was Eyebrows much? The thick black lines above Optimus' eyes that passed for robo-eyebrows bothered me very much xD Sure they were used to convey emotion but they looked ridiculous haha. Of course this is just my opinion, others may love the robo-eyebrows 
I do love your Starscream here, especially his claws and how the light shines on each digit. It makes them pop out along with his face. His facial expression is also pleasing.

Not to disrespect your opinion, but I don't really think it was dumb,not in the least very. Sure it isn't entirely fantastic but I thought it was pretty good. The plot seems to be hastily written, that points out to the zombie robots; there's a somewhat connection to this series and 'War for Cybertron'. I think it was the characterization that made me love this show. Well, 1 thing for sure is that most of the lovers and I agreed that this is better than TF ROTF.
And it's good that you formed your opinion after you watched the show. When the fans saw the 1st look of TF Prime most of them were still complaining and jumping to conclusions. But ever since the show came out I think most of them just shut up. That happened to TFA as well.
Good work on TFP Starscream btw, he is growing on me in this series.

I agree, Prime could've been a whole lot better. Considering the fact that it's the first Transformers cartoon-- or just regular old show-- to have come from a game, War for Cybertron.
The characters, the humans mainly, bothered me the most. Bumblebee's form bothered me, Cliffjumper's premature death was just sad, Ratchet's voice kind of makes me smirk, Megatron's definitely more looney than he was before (then again he was in space by himself for many years), the drones are just there to get blown up, and I wish Soundwave had a voice-- other than nitpicking at it, I'm pleased with the show's development insofar, since only 5 episodes have been aired.

And, I kinda have to agree with you on TFP. There are a few things I don't like about it either, but I still love it. Like Bulkhead is suppose to be a kid like Bumblebee, and Bumblebee should still have a voice. And then they have to go and already kill of a character at the very beginning. Poor Cliffjumper...
But hey, it makes the plot a little more interesting.

i am in agreement with your assessment. The only thing i'm really liking is Starscream and his voice, Welkers new megs voice (but not so much megs himself, just the voice) and Ratchet. Mostly just for his catchphrase 'i needed that' and he has a nice face.
Bee's design also offends me much less in motion than i thought it would in the still pics.
This, however... this drawing is SEX.

I think that if the show was made with your version of their style, I would like it a whole lot more. The shading, lighting, and attention to detail are amazing. I really love how you've decided to focus on detailing on certain parts of him. Well done! This is a beautiful interpretation of something I found rather ugly in it's original form.
As for your comments about the show...I absolutely agree. I'm going to hold out hope that it gets better, but it is a very meager hope.

Well, I like the show - if I forget it´s about TF. I just should not make the mistake to compare any Tf show with each other...
My greatest wish ; Back to the original appearance, with some modern adaptations and a terrific story on top of it. (DW, IDW comics...)...
Btw, I like the way you draw Prime Starscream. Very nice done. Yet here too, I´m not very keen of him. Don´t even like his voice so much. Hell, there is nothing like G1 and Armada (and Cybertron) Screamer...and the voice of Michael Dobson (in my opinion

There are things I like about the show, and things that peeve me. But I doubt there will ever be a TF show that doesn't do this to fans. Transformers has pretty much evolved into something so grand that it can no longer live up to itself.
Anyways, I looove this pic. Starscream is deffinitly one thing I will always appreciate about Transformers.

Oh my gosh, I can't even watch episode 2. Partially the CGI (though I'm not anti-CGI, I love Iron Man: Animated) and partially because it's just awkward. I liked how an Autobot died other than Prime because it made the whole thing seem a bit different, not more real, but it's hard to say.
But I think the visuals throw me off the most. I just can't stand to watch it. I mean, I love TFA, too, but gah, this is just so werid. Optimus Prime's face? Ew.

I'm with you there on the show. It's like they tried to get the uniqueness from Animated and deform it into the Bay-verse. =/ I dont hate the people who do like it but I personally did not like its choppy story and slack animation.

I actually LOVE the show. I thought the action is decent enough, I thought it was awesome that they cast the original voice actors not only Peter Cullen but Frank Weller as well, and I am so happy to see Arcee joining the main cast! The story is fresh I admit but I like where it is going. The best part of the mini-series is that the humans have less screen time and more robot interactions! 
BUT I have few complaints. I can't stand Miko for the love of the Almighty! She is very cliche and I have a feeling she is Sari's stunt double from TFA. I can't even sympathize with her enough becuase I find her to be the token Asian/Black friend or possible love interest to Jack. I don't like it when the show kills off Cliffjumper. He had such a strong impression on me and to see him cut off the show shortly is just wrong. I hope he comes back in February when the show starts again. Also adding gasoline to the fire, Why do they have to shut bee's mouth again? I am tired of hearing him speak like R2DR, no offense to the little guy! I enjoy watching bee speak through the radio then a computer like in the movie.

Про Мегза согласна, больше похоже на маньяка Гальва с поехавшей на почве Юникрона крышей.
Про вагон косяков и штампов в сериале промолчу и буду надеяться, что ещё не всё потеряно. Может, дальше разойдётся...

I like Megatron in Prime (my opinion not fact); he sounds closer to the original and his design is like that from the War for Cybertron game. The story line maybe off from anything I've seen but it was still good. I liked Arcee's design and the fact they used Peter Cullen again, YAY!

Honesty, I'm not too keen on Starscream but I agree, I couldn't help but go 'Awwww' at seeing that pout, like a damn puppy. OHH! But not that I think about it, I seriously blacked out when Megatron smirked at the end of 'Rock Bottom', THAT smirk........sorry my mind went blank.

Oh honey, I am right there with you. Megatron. Is. Sex. OMG. Actually... It's no contest. Decepticons are just far more superior. Starscream works the pout, Megatron works the smirk, Breakdown works that muscle, Soundwave works the silence, and Knock Out... Knock Out just works it.

Too true my friend. Too true. But I must admit, I'm always torn between which side I would...well side with. Since I'm a reletively 'good' person I usually go with the Autobots but the Decepticons always have cool characters (and they're the easiest side to play in games - kill everything in site with a complete disregard for all life = easy). My only solution is Neutral at this point. Have you had this problem?

Actually yes. I've had that problem before. Ratchet and Ironhide are my reasons for wanting to be on the 'Bots side. Then I remember, the 'Cons have Screamer. And now Knock Out.
As far as morality goes, I'm the nicest person in the world, but I'm also fairly devious <3 So Neutral would be a good choice. AUTOCONS, RISE UP AND ROLL OUT!!
