yea, that's exactly what he does. Anytime the door opens he comes running and barking, and that applies to the garage door as well (and sometimes when people make enough noise coming up or down stairs) and it's definitely ironic how much the name fits him, because he wasn't really very noisy as a puppy, his barking habit developed when he was a year or two old. But despite all of that I'm very happy to have him for a pet. He's definitely added to the family fun over the last decade
