Description
I have colored the pencil work which I submitted before. Pencil workAt first, I did rough sketch by the blue pencil, then drew the black pencil line instead of inking. At that time, I didn't clean up the simple scan of the sketch because I wasn't going to color it.
I started coloring without a thinking, so, blue lines are remained, as a result, I think that they added interesting effect on the pic.
And I have drawn it in too high resolution to view the whole of it. The original size is double.
Volcanic Dunk is his highest level attack in Sonic Heroes.

A superlative portrait! It's hard to fault. Knuckles's pose is dynamic, and the background effects erupting about him are explosive and suffused with energy. The shading and light highlighting is impeccable - it appears perfectly natural - and I also think that Kunckles's expression is commendable - it's perfectly emotive, and one of the best-realised expressions on a Sonic character that I've seen!
My only complaint - and it's more of a nitpick than anything else, really - is that Knuckles's socks seem to be fashioned out of steel than wool! They're too geometrical, and it makes his ankles seem clad in stone.
Other than that minor niggle, though, this is a superb piece of art. Well done!

Even when this was just in pencil, it looks really good ^___^ You did just a bold job of outlining it.
The finished version came out really well. I think you did a really good job of conveying Knuckles' fierceness and strength into his strike like that. The fiery glow from the lighting that's against him came out really well. You did a really nice job with the digital color job, and I like the use of different colors for effect.

I simply love the shading style you applied here. Those high highlight makes him look good. I should try it.. I always refrain my of doing that.. I don't know why...

To use a complementary color to shading makes me feel hesitation although it will redound the dramatic effect to pics.
So I applied only the nearly white blue, and just used screen mode.
If the effect works in this pic, I feel good.
