Well--there we have it. The first reference sheet evar for Turu.Boy, he sure has grown D8
HE'S NOT AN ELF.
He's fun to draw 8D you should try and see for your self!
this will probably be scrapped sooner or later...
edit: OWAIT I should probably write some additional stuff on personality and what such.
He loves peanut butter and jelly sammiches.
And...
Well, without getting into back story stuff, he's a pretty happy-go lucky guy. A little stupid due to naivety though. Just a little....
Okay, a lot.
He's a pretty tolerant guy--doesn't get angry easy--but if you yell at him, he'll probably shrink into his shadow and look at you like a beaten puppy--depending on who you are and how seriously he's able to take you.
He's also a total pacifist.
...Unless you try to drown him.

Also, there's no point denying that his design is very heavily influenced by the likeness of this guy

How old is he? To me he looks about 18, but being an elf, does he age any slower than humans?

Turu the elf is 134 years old. But in this world, Elves don't age at all past the age of 20.

Is it just Turu who hates shoes/socks, or do all elves prefer to be Barefoot. Can't say I blame him, I'm barefoot right now as I type, and I never wear shoes when at home, or if I'm sleeping over at my friend's house.

Tu is paving the way for Muts in stardom. Like... 50 years in the future there will be a family of fame, a father pushing his children into the spotlight. Out of those children one will especially shine, and the mut boy will grow to extreme stardom, donned one of the best music artists of all time. And then he will start to change, his ears will be cut, he'll find a way to make his spots invisible... he'll further uglify himself in an attempt to become more "human"

The speech impediment isn't really stuttering--it's a bit of a unique combination of two things: Underdeveloped tongue muscles make it difficult to pronounce certain sounds properly similar to "speech sound disorder" [link] strange vocal chords give the voice a very "foggy" almost muffled kind of quality . It's commonly called an accent...but it's just a developmental issue : >
