Toph Beifong WIP!Β Started spontaneously with the random background and I just started working out from there. This is my first Avatar fanart, and it has been a lot of fun to do! I've also never sketched in this way before, and it was also really fun and will practice more like this! (Now I just gotta find a way to do the final version without screwing it up)I looked up Hung Gar poses to find one for Toph that would work with what I was doing and was surprised I didn't royally screw up the hands. Martial art poses are a lot of fun to do, I plan on doing a lot more in the future.

This looks really nice! The rocks are so detailed and it gives it so much form. The rocks also lead the eye to toph as the focal point. Nice job on this! I can't wait to see it finished. Looking up reference is awesome!

Ahh nice! I was trying to do that, so I'm glad the movement worked in my favour! I actually wound up working backwards (Toph first, stones after), and I get irritated when things don't flow right, so that's great to hear!
