Description Another fantastic colouring by my DA friend Myronavitch   I was never too happy with this drawing when I submitted it.. but boy has that changed now! Thanks mate for another fantastic colouring.. You are doing my work proud and I am happy to work with you anytime

Original drawing is here : mandala-jim.deviantart.com/art…

I used Staedtler pens 0.1, 0.2, 0.7 mm, an Edding 1mm and a Copic Brush BS for Black colouring on a 56cm Bristol Board and Myron used Photoshop for the colouring

I've very happy with this collaboration..

I hope you like it too

Hiya, it's been a while. Thanks very much for the critique. It means a lot to me to get such positive feedback. I will pass on the message to Myronavitch. And, you have my permission to feature any of my mandalas on you site. All I ask is that I get credited somewhere Thank you.

Isn't it. He did a fab job on the colouring didn't he. It's about time I learnt how to colour properly in photoshop

I like the use of open space between the designs. Great job.

Once again Myron has taken a relatively old picture (55) and given it a new life. I'm very grateful. He's does yet another fantastic transformation

Beautifully done! That softly gradated blue background really makes the mandala pop!

Isn't it? Makes my coloring look a bit shabby.. I'm nearly finished another few tattoos and a another full size b&w mandala.. Once these are submitted I'm going to start praticising on Photoshop

it was a great idea to use the same colour for inside and outside the mandala; makes it look as if it's floating!

Yes, your right there. About 10 hours on my drawing mandala-jim.deviantart.com/art… and whatever time Myronavitch spent colouring.. a fair while by the looks of it

About fifteen hours.  With a few false starts, the learning curve has grown quite a bit.

Can I ask you where you are learning from Myron? Is it books? Videos? or just playing around with the options and teaching yourself?

Mostly just playing around with the program over the last few years.  You can find a lot of tutorials
for free on the web these days.  Also check out help in the program for basic stuff.
