I experimented with film photography back in school when I was 17, loved it, then eventually picked up my brother iPhone and started with digital photography in 2009, in June 2011 I got my first point and shoot model, it got stolen in May of this year, sadly, but I guess it was a good thing because a week later I bought my Canon.

Wow, I would have loved to have started shooting with film, but it was a bit expensive, so I waited for digital. I find it was a lot easier to learn from my mistakes when I didn't have to pay for prints. Now that I know more, it'd be awesome to get a film camera and see what happens.

Film was so much work, but it definitely paid off in the end. I prefer digital though since it's easy to correct a mistake. I would love to eventually go back to film if I ever get the money to do so that is

it would be cool do develop your own film, so you would have total control over the whole process. Same here though, I'll have to wait until I can invest the money to go that way.

I LOVED developing! I was so happy that my high school had a dark room, it was such an awesome experience for sure.
Money.. gaaaah.. definitely need more!

Same! the lens kit i'm looking at is $75 (my Canon is outdated so the accessories sell for pretty cheap on Amazon) I want it soo badly.

wow, that's not bad for a lens! The one I want is a super-wide angle (10mm) and it's like $900. It's going to be a while...
