It was, it really was.
This was right after a massive storm that produced tornadoes, it was so beautiful though

I hope no harm was done by the tornado's. I'm also fascinated by such storms but feel sometimes a bit confused about that. Knowing that you love something that also destroys people's lives and does so much damage. Overhere (in the Netherlands) we don't get tornado's. Usually severe storms that are born out of the remains of the hurricanes crossing over the atlantic from the american mainland. 99% of them end up as depressions with rain and wind. Occasionally one triggers a new storm here. 1953 one did so much damage to the coastal aerea of Zeeland that the government decided to construct the Delta plan to protect that region. Large parts of our tiny country lie below sealevel. Those parts were once conquered upon the sea.
There! I just got seduced to give you some history lesson Sorry bout that.
Just wanted to let you know that I share the love (turbulent) weather

No harm to my city, but the next few over got hit badly.
Oh how I would love to move there, storms like the ones here scare me, I'm absolutely terrified of everything to do with tornadoes/sever thunderstorms.
Oh no.. that's terrible to hear! I hope everything is alright now =]
No problem, I LOVE history with a passion!
Glad to know there's someone like me out there, Hate storms, but I love them at the same time. I'm odd!

I think everybody is somehow both impressed and terrified by forces of nature, as long as you're not a victim of them, you are granted the luxury of enjoying their appearance. Sadly thousands of people all over the globe lose everything, sometimes including their lives in storms, earthquakes, landslides, volcanic eruptions, tsunami's and so on. There is no escaping the fact that we live on a planet that holds absolute wisdom in nature (meaning that no thing happens in our natural environment without use) but has no mercy for no thing, being living or the lifeless. Only man is capable of that. We should all be more aware of that, than at least, manmade disasters like war and such could become a thing of the past.

So no, you're not odd, you're sensitive to what happens around and has not only directly to do with you. If you were not this way you would become a very selfcentered person
