for me, this photo is a simple portrait... not for stock...
why ?... Because she looks at the camera.... smile... and simple pose... like portrait of canvas or drawings.

If you're not a portrait photography studio, how do you get to take such great pictures? Do people ask you to take their picture, or do you ask them to let you take pictures? I mainly do nature pictures, but I'd like to start taking portraits too.

I asked a few friends if they'd let me take their photos, then it spawned into being their friends, and friends of friends.. haha! it's a great experiance. I'm glad people are letting me experiment with them, as i'm pretty much learning everything on my own.. Always fun. I have a lineup already for spring.. haha!
