Description
I stood along the sidewalk,
the rain all around me,
soaking wet within the rain,
I fall to the ground,
cursing your name.

I laid there,
soaked in tears,
soaked in pain,
confused and alone.

I thought you were there for me,
I thought you'd never hurt me,
yet I stand drastically hurt...

As tears rapidly fall from my eyes,
I recollect the memories,
the nights I was still allowed to love you,
the nights I could spend forever with you,
endless times of laughter,
never tears.

Every droplet of rain falling from this sky,
is a tear from a broken heart,
a lie to someone,
fear of getting hurt.

The little rivers of tears begin to flow down the sidewalk,
forever remembering this sight of dread,
sight of pain and misery,
the sight of this down pour never left behind.

A single car drives through the little rivers of rain,
the rain splashes away,
away from the pain,
away from the heart that is already broken in half,
it avoids being alone,
yet when alone is nothing,
it's still together with a group, just not with everyone even in its physical.

This tiny ray of sunshine,
slowly it begins to glimmer through these heavy clouds,
the tears begin to slow,
a final tear falls,
the heart's pain starting to subside,
a broken heart finally beginning to heal.
