I tried a little something different tonight. This was about 5¼ hours' work. *Shiki01 had done a bunch of ponified movie posters a while back, and I'd thought about doing one. After seeing Pinkie Pie in that bowler on Saturday, I couldn't get this idea out of my head. I used a few techniques that I hadn't before, like the filter on Dash. I also used the clipped blurred objects there to make those shadows and the highlights on the whisk handle.I haven't read (nor do I plan to read) the "Cupcakes" fanfic, but I know enough about it that I figured it would help give me some references to work with. I have seen A Clockwork Orange once, and it's pretty disturbing.
The download version is good for printing at 27"x41" at 300dpi if you can find something to print it on.

If I were to direct a remake of A Clockwork Orange, I'd probably replace Singin' in the Rain with Pinky Fluffy Unicorns Dancing on Rainbows.

I dunno about that (the latter sentence), I think I more see the Cat Lady being played by Trixie rather than Cadance.
I actually agree that it would be less disturbing using FFUDOR in place of SITR. That was just a cheap throwaway joke comment I randomly came up with.

I like this, but wouldn't the title work better if it were A Clockwork Pink? Alternately, you could have
Big Macintosh as Malcom McDowell and call it A Clockwork Apple.

I actually started it as "A Clockwork Pink," but as I was writing out all the words for the poster, it didn't quite feel right. I almost changed the whole concept to "A Clockwork Apple" to fit the fruit theme, and put Applejack as Alex, but the "Cupcakes" references were too ripe not to use. Besides, I couldn't not use the word "ultra-smilence."
