I made this scarf for my friend ~AjasKatears . It's about 8" (20cm) wide and 9' (2.7m) long. Done in Red Heart acrylic yarn. Cutie mark is done in duplicate stitch. I think any future iteration of this type of scarf would be done using intarsia because the duplicate stitch doesn't let the scarf flow as much. She does seem to love it, though.Related content

How did you get an acrylic yarn to stop curling and make it look so amazing?!

I sewed the edges together so the seam is on the opposite side as the cutie mark, and when I put the fringe on, it holds those curls together as well.

This turned out so great! she wears it so much, i had to clean it already. was easy to clean too.
I love how the mane is the fridge, so wonderfully colorful

It's funny, I recently drew Scootaloo in a Dashie scarf.
Your real one looks better though (at least 20% cooler).
