There was a Doctor Who event at a local British shop. I didn't have a costume already (even though I love the show) and all my friends had Doctor costumes of their own. Some thrift store shopping (along with a wig from Ebay and a set of cowboy boots) and I put together an Amy Pond costume. I may improve this later on, but it was a fun costume that surprisingly was recognized by a lot of people. And I even took a prize in the costume contest!as the Eleventh Doctor
