Description I've drawn him several different ways, but as of yet I have neglected to draw him un-zombified... so here he is . I find it interesting how his cheek bones are nowhere near as pronounced in his un-zombified form as they are normally . That's probably just a by-product of being dead .

Colored version is here: [link] just FYI !

Well, if he's been dead for a while (and he said a decade), he's probably fairly dry, which would make him appear much thinner than he was in life.

You should color it, it's rather plain as it is. :>

Understandable... poor zombie though! He puts up with so much .

I'm definitely going to color it as soon as I can find the time . The simplicity of this thing actually made his facial expression a bit difficult to capture... but I think I've got it now . In the color version I'm thinking I'll include a paper crane or two, just 'cuz that's his thing !

Lookin forward to the coloured version!

N'aww he was so cute, wasn't he? And you drew him in such an adorable way!!!

I concur with the cheekbones thing. I guess he's a lot more sunken and hollow when dead than we actually consider.

Thank-you so much !

After posting this I went back and looked at him zombified vs. not, and it's actually really drastic how gaunt his face became after he died . I kind of enjoy drawing him this way (t'is a much simpler process than drawing him zombified). Even so, he seriously makes THE most awesome zombie ever... I'm just glad that Tessa made him as awesome as she did .

More than welcome

It is! O.o It's actually crazy. But i love how tessa took it into consideration! Than features and whatnot become sharper and more drastic when faces become gaunt like that. And the sunked look of his eyes, emphasises and portrayed vie those dark black circles. Genius.
Likewise. It would have been all to easy to make him either too normal looking, or too classically zombified.<3

Y'know, that's the other thing about him... he really isn't your steriotypical zombie . I mean the glowing orange eyes and those awesome wing-like hair tufts are so distinctive, and I am SO glad that he doesn't have the overwhelming urge to eat people's brains ! Besides that, his attitude is amazingly laid back and sincere... and he makes the best narrator EVER !!

Yeah exactly.

The eyes confuse me. Very golem-eque ;D Oh Ples... putting ideas in our heads

YES. Yes he does. So darn chilled. And uber nice too. So caring.

I was gonna say that his eyes remind me of those street lights that have that kind of orange-y cast to them . I think they're awesome !

...and I wanna know once and for all what the deal with Ples is ! I mean, Tessa has pretty much told us that he's a jeckyll-and-hyde type of character (master of the obvious here ), but she has yet to explain just anything else about him, or who he is, or what he has to do with all that other crud with Veser and them !
