Description "B-Brother, do you have to keep following me?" Anya whimpered as she was trapped against the wall by her taller, but younger brother.

"Of course, I need to protect you." Replied the Belarusian male and he glared down at his older sister.

"B-Brother, I appreciate the thought, I really do. But I can protect myself." Anya said to her brother, trying to look up at his dark, dark eyes.

"Няма." He said flatly.

"Brother! Sister! Come on, would you? We need to welcome the new addition!" Called the oldest brother from downstairs.

"C-Coming!!" The frightened Russian woman replied as she managed to slip out of her brother's cage and run down the hall.

Nikolai sighed, once again his sister had managed to escape him. The young man with platinum blonde, nearly silver hair followed in suit of his older sister. His grey trench coat with black fur collar and black fur cuffs moved with him as he descended the large staircase to the foyer of the large mansion.

At the bottom of the staircase already stood the rest of the household, his older siblings, and the three servants of the house. Nikolai went to stand next to his older sister as she spoke to the eldest of the siblings, Dmitri. He wore his usual attire, long beige coat, navy blue pants, boots, and long white scarf. His blond locks were combed neatly, and yet they still had a tousled look.

His older sister's attire was normal as well, long pink coat with white accents, her long platinum hair hung down past her shoulders, her violet eyes were shining normally, and wore her usual hat atop her head of hair.

The three trembling servants stood in a line, tallest to shortest: Eduard, Toris, and Ravis. The three Baltic States stood trembling near the three siblings, waiting for an order.

"Well, now she should be here soon, so we shouldn't have to wait long." Dmitri mused as he checked his watch.

"W-who are we w-waiting for, exactly?" Ravis asked timidly.

"Why, a new servant! She'll be helping you three out with your work since we are getting rather busy." Anya replied to him with a smile.

Nikolai rolled his eyes. "Do we really need a new servant?" He asked.

"We're doing her a favor, Nikolai. (Name) needs a job and a place to stay. The least we can do is give her a job, food, and a warm bed." Dmitri said to his younger brother.

The Belarusian male snorted defiantly. The only reason the three servants stuttered so much, was because of him. He was known for his overprotective nature towards his sister, and it often scared the three of them. He didn't need another person afraid of him.

Then, a knock sounded at the door. Dmitri grinned happily and rushed to the door. Turning the large handle, he opened the door. "(Name)! Welcome!" He greeted happily.

"Thank you, Dmitri." A smaller voice replied just as happily.

The tall Ukrainian male stepped aside to let in a smaller figure. The figure's (h/c) locks were a tad messy from the winter air blowing through them, she wore a (f/c) coat with a (second f/c) skirt and black boots. She was carrying a small suitcase of her belongings in her gloved hands. Her (s/c) cheeks were red from the cold, as long as her nose. Her (e/c) eyes were shining all the same.

Dmitri led the smaller woman over to the group of people waiting to meet her. "Everyone meet (Name), or (Country Name). (Name), I want you to meet the rest of the household. My siblings, Russia, and Belarus. And the three you'll be working with, Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia."

"It's very nice to meet you all." (Name) greeted with a bright smile.

Toris was the first to approach her. "The feeling's the same, (Name). But you can call me Toris." He said to her. "Since we're going to be working together, I don't thing we need to be so formal."

"Same with me, Miss (Name). You can call me Eduard." The Estonian male said to the small woman as he fixed his glasses.

"A-and I'm Ravis, miss." Added the shortest of the trio.

(Name) nodded, "Alright, Toris, Eduard, and Ravis. I look forward to working with you three."

Anya was the next to go up to the female, giving her a greeting smile. "(Name), it's so nice to have another girl in the house. You can always call me if you need anything, da?"

"Yes ma'am, Miss Russia." (Names) replied.

"Call me Anya, (Name)." Anya corrected with a giggle.

"Brother, aren't you going to introduce yourself to (Name)?" Dmitri asked his younger brother softly while Anya spoke with the new addition to the house.

"Why should I? You already did that." Came the gruff reply from the Belarusian.

Dmitri's brows rose a bit in surprise. "Yes, but everyone else has introduced themselves to her, so why shouldn't you?"

Nikolai rolled his eyes and turned on his heel to walk back up the stairs to his room, leaving his brother to watch him go.

"Where's Little Brother going?" Anya asked as she turned away from (Name).

"Oh, he just isn't feeling well is all." Dmitri replied with a smile.

"He isn't? He seemed just fine earlier." Said the younger Russian woman.

"Maybe he needs some tea to warm him up. (Name), could you make it for him?" Dmitri asked his friend.

"Of course." (Name) replied.

"I can take your bags upstairs, Lithuania, if you would show (Name) where everything in the kitchen is." The Ukrainian male said to the shorter Lithuanian as he gently took the small suitcase.

"Yes sir." Toris replied before he turned to (Name). "Right this way."

~~~~
Nikolai was spread out on his bed as he flung his throwing knives at the target next to the door. There was something... Offsetting about the new girl. She wasn't like any servant girl, certainly nothing to be compared with the the trembling trio.
He couldn't exactly explain it, but it was... Different.
He was so deep in his thoughts, he didn't even hear the soft knock of the girl of his thoughts from the other side of the door, however, the girl opened the door just when a knife went right into the center of the target. If he was off by only a few inches, she would have lost an ear.
The girl was caught off guard by the weapon that was sticking out of the wall next to her, then looked over to its thrower. "Umm... I brought some tea for you... Your brother thought you might need some." (Name) managed to get out as she held a tray with a porcelain teapot, a matching cup and saucer, a cup of sugar cubes, creamer, and a spoon.
Nikolai sighed and sat up. "Come in, then. Close the door behind you." He said to her.
(Name) obeyed his order and closed the door as she balanced the tray with one hand with ease. After the small task was done, she walked over to the bedside table and set the tray down. She poured the mint tea into the cup. "Sugar and creamer, sir?" She asked.
"Neither." He replied.
She nodded and placed the teapot down once the cup was full. She stood, waiting for Nikolai to return to his bed after he retrieved his throwing knives. Once he sat down again, the Belarusian male picked up the cup and drank the tea without uttering a word. When he placed the cup down, he threw another one of his knifes. Only to have it hit the most outer ring of the target.
(Name) couldn't help but let out a small chuckle, which caused the male to turn and glare at her. "What?" He asked, his voice matching that of an angry dog.
"Nothing, sir."
"You think you could do better?"
"Sir?"
"Give it a try." He held out one of the knives for her.
(Name) blinked in surprise and took the knife into her hand. She kept her eye on the target and exhaled slowly. She drew her arm back and threw the knife. Nikolai watched with a bored expression as he took another sip of the tea.
Thunk
The knife hit the board.
Right in the bull's eye.
Nikolai choked on the tea from the shock. He set the cup down and coughed into his hand, not noticing the worried expression from the woman next to him. Feeling a hand pat his back, he cracked an eye and saw (Name) positioned rather close to him, enough to tint his cheeks to a pale pink.
"Are you alright, sir?" She asked him worriedly.
"F-fine." Nikolai managed to choke out.
After a couple minutes of coughing, Nikolai let out an exhausted sigh. "You can leave now." He said to the young woman.
"Yes sir, I'll come back later for the tray." (Name) spoke as she turned from him.
"Girl." Nikolai called to her before (Name) opened the door.
"Sir?" She asked, turning around.
Nikolai paused to stare at her features for a moment. Her hair was now combed neatly into a loose but stylish look, her even (s/c) face was flawless with a slight rose tint, her stunning (e/c) orbs looked right into his own dark blue ones.
"...... Nice aim."
(Name) blinked in surprise, but smiled back at him. "Thank you, sir." And with that, she walked out.
Nikolai laid back down onto his bed and used an arm to cover his face as he felt his cheeks warm up a few degrees.
~~~~

"(Name), how are you enjoying your stay?" Anya asked a couple months after (Name) arrived.

The two were sitting by the large and lit fireplace while everyone else was enjoying a relaxing day off from work.

"I'm really enjoying it here, Anya." (Name) replied as she took a sip of her (fave tea). "The Baltics and I get along well, I have a warm bed, I'm living with my best friend, and your younger brother is actually talking to me."

Anya blinked. "Really?" She asked.

"Mm-Hm."

So she wasn't imagining the last few weeks. Nikolai hadn't been chasing her as much as he used to, but he was seen more around (Name). She would bring him daily tea in his room and the two were often heard talking to each other from the other side of the closed door.

"That's good to hear, da?" Anya asked with a smile.

"Da." (Name) replied, using Anya's own language.

Anya chuckled softly and the two continued to conversation for the rest of the afternoon together.

~~~~
"Nikolai, if you like her so much, why not just tell her?" Dmitri asked with a laugh.
"I don't know what Big Sister would think about it." Nikolai replied flatly as he threw another knife at the nearly full target.
Dmitri sighed. The week after (Name) arrived, the oldest brother knew something was bothering his sibling. He learned soon afterward that Nikolai actually had feelings towards his friend. Dmitri was overjoyed, of course.
"Nikolai, I'm saying this as your older brother and (Name)'s friend, she'll love the fact that you came out and said it." Dmitri said, trying to convince his younger brother.
"But what if Big Sister doesn't approve?!" Nikolai asked, growing irritated.
"Will that stop you?" Dmitri questioned, his voice growing more assertive.
Nikolai paused. Would the fact of Anya disapproving of the relationship actually stop him? "Probably..."
Dmitri sighed. "Brother, you think about this for a while. Then talk with Anya. If you don't, I'm telling Anya myself." With that, the elder brother stood from his seat on the bed and walked out.
Nikolai stood shocked. His normally docile brother actually sounded a bit threatening. He groaned, ruffling his hair roughly. "Is all this really worth the trouble?" He asked himself. Flopping back on his bed, he stared up at the ceiling, thinking back to the several moments that he and (Name) shared.
"Steady your arm." Nikolai explained to her as he straightened the female's arm as she held the knife. "Don't let it shake so much, just relax."
"Nikolai, I already showed you that I can hit the target, do I really have to do this?" (Name) asked.
"Maybe you can throw, but your form is too sloppy. If you want to really throw a knife, you need to know how to do it correctly." Nikolai replied. He stepped back. "Try."
(Name) inhaled then exhaled softly. Drawing back the knife, she threw it. Again, hitting a bull's eye.
"Yes!! Nine in a row!" She cheered happily.
Nikolai couldn't help but crack a small grin as (Name) chirped happily as she retrieved the knife.
"Good. You wanna try with three?" He asked as he held out two more knives for her.
"Three? Can't say I've thrown that many before." (Name) said to him as she took the other two.
"Come on, knowing you, you can do it." Nikolai pushed.
"If you're so sure, you throw three." (Name) said to the Belarusian as she pushed the knives back towards him.
Nikolai snorted. "Fine." He took the knives and stood up straight, the knives in one hand as he aimed carefully.
He drew his arm back.
"Mister Belarus, you ha-AAH!!"
Nikolai threw the knives and they hit the target, just as Toris walked in with a cell phone. The terrified Lithuanian stumbled back and hit the floor, before he scrambled to his feet and ran off down the hall.
The two countries looked from the empty door way then to each other.
"Pfft... He screams like a girl." (Name) snickered.
"He looks like one, if you ask me." Nikolai replied.
Nikolai cracked a grin as he came back to the present time from the past memory.
After calming the Lithuanian down, (Name) managed to explain that he wasn't being aimed at. But the Lithuanian male still turned pale whenever Nikolai passed him.
He sat up at the sound of a knock at his door. It was around dinner time, so it wouldn't be (Name).
"B-brother, it's Anya... May I come in?" Asked the voice from the other side.
Nikolai stood from his seat and walked over to open the door. Anya stood on the other side, looking at the younger male.
"Come in." Nikolai stepped aside and watched as his older sister walked in.
Anya complied and walked over to the bed, sitting down. Nikolai shut the door and sat next to her. "What is it, Big Sister?" He asked.
"I just wanted to check up on you, brother. After all, I haven't seen you much." Anya replied.
"You've seen me when we're in meetings."
"Da, but every other time, I see you with (Name)." Anya nodded her head.
His blood turned cold. Swallowing roughly, he waited for what his sister to speak.
"You like (Name), don't you?" Anya asked.
Nothing.
"Nikolai?"
"...."
"Is something wrong?"
".... няма."
"No, there's nothing wrong, or no, you don't like (Name)?"
"Няма! Няма! Big Sister, I like (Name), I do! I-it's just I didn't know how you would react, so I didn't tell you..." Nikolai confessed. He waited for her reply nervously.
"Nikolai..." He couldn't read her tone.
"Д-ды?" He asked, not daring to look up.
He felt warm arms wrap around him in a hug. "Nikolai, I only care about your happiness. If being with (Name) makes you happy, then go be with her." Anya said to her younger brother.
"R-really?" Nikolai asked, a blush appearing on his cheeks.
"Da! Do you really need my opinion if you're going to date a girl? And here I thought you were grown up country by now!" Anya laughed. Nikolai's brow creased and his mouth's corners turned downwards in a frown. Anya chuckled. "But really, Nikolai. If being with (Name) makes you that happy, then I'm happy for you."
Nikolai nodded. "Дзякуй, сястра." And with that, Nikolai was out of the room in a dash and running to the kitchen.
~~~~

"Toris! For the last time, he wasn't aiming at you, he was aiming at the target!" (Name) said to her friend as she stirred the pot of stew.

"Of course you side with him, (Name)!" Toris called back.

"What's that supposed to mean?" The female called over her shoulder.

"Really, (Name)? You need to ask?" Eduard looked up from chopping the vegetables.

"Yes! Now tell me!" (Name) urged.

"You two are together, aren't you?" Ravis asked as he reached up into the cupboard to pull the dishes down.

(Name) blushed. She wished, after knowing Nikolai for the couple months that she did, the young female was growing feelings for the Belarusian male.

The door slamming open caused the four people to turn front their jobs to the door where Nikolai stood, breathing heavily from being out of breath.

"M-Mister Belarus?" Toris asked.

Nikolai paid him no mind, he moved passed the three Baltics and to (Name). He wrapped an arm around her waist and brought her close to his chest.

"N-Nikol-mmph?!" (Name) was caught off by the Belarusian crashing his lips onto hers in a surprising warm and soft kiss.

(Name) stood shocked for a few moments before her eyes fluttered closed and she wrapped her arms around his neck. When the need for air became too great between the two, they pulled back, both with faces that would put the most healthiest tomato to shame.

"Я люблю цябе, (Name)." Nikolai murmured.

(Name) stood shocked for a moment, taking in his blushing face, his tousled silver hair, and his serious deep blue eyes. She smiled softly at him before saying: "I love you too, Nikolai."

"See, Estonia? I told you they were a couple!" A certain Latvian boy exclaimed before his mouth was covered by an Estonian's hand.

"Yes, yes, Latvia. I know." Eduard replied with a nervous sigh.

"See, Anya? Nikolai went straight for (Name) after you gave him the okay!" Dmitri said to his younger sister from the door way.

Anya laughed softly. "I didn't doubt you for a moment, brother."

Indeed, the two wee quite the match, both having a love for knives and the skill of throwing them.

Seems like their aim didn't just hit the bull's eye after all.

But their hearts as well.

This reminds me of when I was 13, I had just gotten done watching Hetalia. I thought it would be cool if I learned how to throw knives. Long story short when I was screwing around with one when my brother walked in, he saw the knife in my hand and automatically freaked out. He started yelling about how we had our differences in the past, but he never expected it to come to this. The entire time I'm like WTF?!??! Then mom walks in.... I wasn't allowed to use a knife for a year

I never expected anyone in the fandom to be crazy enough to ruin it for anyone who saw 23.5. Hetaoni, however, is actually pretty well crafted, and will take any fangirl/fanboy on the feels trip of their life. Just because I say it's well made, doesn't mean it's good. I swear, I didn't trust mansions after that. I mean, now I have three reasons to not go in random mansions. 1: There might be ghosts that have kidnapped my brother. (Luigi's mansion) 2: I might get trapped in a series of songs that end with me killing myself. (The infinite night vocaloid series) and 3: There might be a demon trying to kill me. (Hetaoni)

Your mansion thing is wise. But I'm not too worried about the ghosts. I've seen Ghost Busters and Paranormal Activity, I know how to do this shit. But then again this is coming from the person, who every time my family and I go out of town I try and convince my mom to let the priest bless the place we're staying.

Meowhug17 In reply to hetalovergirl [2015-03-22 02:45:30 +0000 UTC]

Sometimes I feel like the creators of Hetalia purposely do this shit just to traumatize the people who stick with the series after watching/playing Hetaoni and episode 23.5 (there are people out there who completely drop the series after playing and/or watching the game and the episode)
The show is hilarious and cute and sometimes I have to stop the episode to fangirl, but then I'll hear of something weird, get curious, do it then start screaming " SWEET MERCIFUL TURTLES WHAT HAVE I DONE!??!?" Those two things combined are enough to scare the entire fandom to DEATH. Now, after my little rant excuse me while I go find ice cream, curl up in a corner and try to forget the terrifying Hetaoni and 23.5.

Me: GIRL, YOU GOT MY FAVORITE ACTIVITIY. I LOVE THROWING KNIVES AND BUYING THEM ONLINE! I ALWAYS HAVE PERFECT AIM! MY FAVORITE IS A SWITCH-
Ishimoto: *smacks my head with a spatula* You're to noisy for crying out loud!
Me: You want me to stab you with this? *flicks my switchblade and aims it at him*
Ishimoto: No... *slowly backs away*
Me: Gooooooood!

(I always carry it with me even at school but I secure it with a small leather strap on my upper thigh under my skirt)
